Attention: I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Jan. 2017 through Jun. 2018, and will not be checking my blog email, or updating my blog during that time. (I may have some already written posts scheduled go live during that time, but I will not be active on my blog, and these posts will be entirely my own opinions, and not representative of the opinions or stances of the church)
Any book requests or other communication received in that time will not be responded to until after June 2018.
I am very excited by how much my blog has grown, I first started it as nothing more than a school assignment, but it wasn’t long before I grew to love it, and I love spreading the word about books I love!
I’m not very specific about the types of books I read, but I do LOVE:
- Fiction
- Fantasy
- Science-Fiction
- Dystopian
- Historical-Fiction
- Paranormal (On occasion)
- Urban Fantasy
I will read Middle Grade and even the occasional adult book, but I’m most well-read and interested in Young Adult novels.
I will accept self-published novels, so long as they have been properly edited. I love to support Indie authors! They’re my absolute favorite!
I will accept ARC’s.
There is no guarantee when or if a book will be read and reviewed on my blog.
How to submit a book for review:
Use the CONTACT ME forum on which can be found here. Send me the title of your book, a summary, the genre, and link to a webpage, if you have one.
In order for me to accept a book, I must receive either an e-book or print copy .
Important! I am 19 years old, and do not read books that have a lot of cussing, or extreme graphic-ness, or any “mature scenes”. Please take this into consideration before requesting a review.
Warning: By accepting a book for review I am not guaranteeing a positive review, or a quickly posted one. I am in college, and have many other time-consuming and pressing items of business that may delay the timely posting of reviews.
I will not accept any monetary compensation for a review.

You write absolutely brilliant reviews. As I chisel through my To-Be-Read stack, I’m going to be checking out your archives for recommendations. Also, when I am at last published, I would love to send you a review copy! :) (Or just a copy as a friend, and you can review it if you feel like it.)
Thanks Lynette! I really need this resource because I’m a new librarian at a middle school. I love YA literature, but I haven’t had the chance to read close to what you’ve read. Great job.
