It's me!
It’s me!

Hi! I’m Lynette, owner and writer of Escaping Reality – One Book at a Time. I’m 16, a college freshman, and a proud Texan.

I’ve been reading heavily since I was about 7 or 8, and finally, decided to start writing my very own book review blog.

Here I will be posting weekly reviews of various books, anything from Science Fiction, to Fantasy, to Paranormal, to Historic Fiction, I’ll read pretty much anything that’s clean.

Know of a book you want me to review? Just let me know!

If you like the blog, don’t forget to tell your friends about it!

Thanks so much!
Lynette ♥

hei Lynette, greeting from Indonesia. I love your blog, I’m a blogger and defintely cannot live without books. And some of your list just the same as mine, from Harry Potter up to Ally Carter’s. I’m kind of fantasy book freak.

    Will follow your blog.

  2. Hey there Lynette! I had a most pleasant surprise in my email this evening. Thank you! I would have sent you a free review, so if you happen to like what you read, email me at crimsonworx@gmail with your pick of the line up. Thanks again, and I welcome your review (good, bad or indifferent, so long as its honest! I’ve got thick skin, ha ha)

  3. Ah, a fellow Texan! First, I must applaud your love for reading; truly an underrated activity in our society. Bravo!
I stumbled on your blog this afternoon through a link from Beauty in Ruins and, much to my surprise, you have a dystopian section! Woo Hoo! I’ve always been a fan of the genre myself and have incorporated what I hope will be regarded as an interesting world of speculative foreshadowing into my new series MechaNation. Its purely an ebook series currently available at Amazon. Have a look-see and see what ‘cha think =D
MechaNation: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B0J48Q2 and its sequel, MechaNation: Rebirth http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BI0SQ4S
The second title happens to feature a girl about your age and her younger brother, a first for any of my novels. I’d love to read your thoughts!
