Top Ten Most Memorable Secondary Characters
(Not Necessarily in the Following Order)
Silena Beauregard & Charlie Beckendorf: From Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Last Olympian. I mean, really, how can you NOT love Silena and Beckendorf? The background plot there is something I’ll never forget. Treachery, deceit, love, heroism, sacrifice. I cried. A lot.
Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and Luna Lovegood: From Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows. Often nicknamed, “The Silver Trio”, I loved their courage and insight into the goings-on at Hogwarts while “The Golden Trio” was off hunting horcruxes.
Alyss Mainwaring: In Ranger’s Apprentice (books 1-9). Even before she became a ‘main’ character in the 10th book, I always loved the quiet strength, ingenuity, grace, and contagious smile of Alyss Mainwaring.
Fred & George Weasley: From the Harry Potter series! Who doesn’t love Fred & George? I mean, really. Their humor, perfect timing, and brotherly bond is just beyond amazing.
Reepicheep: The Chronicles of Narnia. Reepicheep’s bravery, courage, and infinite esteem of honor, make him a lovable character you’ll never forget.
Gabrielle: The Heist Society series. I love Gabrielle’s peppiness, style, and fashion-sense in the face of extreme danger. She makes me laugh.
